Every preacher, the Bible and the classics in one app
The Share the Sermon app holds it all: over 7,700 sermons from 30 preachers, the whole Bible dramatized, and the classics. It picks up where you left off in every sermon, plays offline and with the screen off, from 0.75× to 2× speed, with a sleep timer that can stop at the end of the sermon.
New preachers and sermons appear by themselves, with no update. Free, with no ads, no account and no tracking. Get it on Google Play ↗
A free home for a church's sermons
Local churches, small and large, can now share their sermons here, free: a church page with every sermon to stream, download and share, a podcast feed for every podcast app, a player for the church's own website, and a QR code with a poster and cards to print in the church's language.
A church affirms a short statement of faith, and its sermons are shared so that anyone may copy and pass them on with credit, but never sell or change them. Read more for churches ↗
Sermons that work where the internet doesn't
A jail ministry wrote that Chuck Smith Sermons froze on the tablets the inmates use. The old apps needed the internet just to show their list, and the jail's network, rightly, blocked it.
So I rebuilt every app. Now every sermon list is built into the app, it opens with no network at all, and listening needs just one address. Downloads play offline. There's a page written for the IT staff at prisons, jails and schools that says exactly what to allow, and nothing else is asked for: no accounts, no ads, no analytics.
