A project by John TibellFia med knuffSweden's classic dice game, with a real push.
The game in almost every Swedish games cupboard: four colours, four pieces each, one die, and one goal, to get all your pieces home first. Here you play it right in the browser: against the computer, on one screen with the family, or online with friends through a link. Free, and no account.

Who do you want to push?
Eight computer players, each with a style of their own. From Snor-Olle, who gets it wrong almost every time, to Kung Magnus, whom nobody quite understands.
Five things to know
Swedish standard rules, as most families play them. The site has the whole rules guide.
- A one or a sixgets a piece out of the nest.
- Clockwiseonce round the board. A six gives you another roll.
- Land on someoneand they're pushed home to their nest.
- Into your colourtowards the middle. There you're safe.
- An exact rollto finish, or you bounce back. First with all home wins.
Settle the argument before it starts
Can you push someone on their start square? Do you need an exact roll to get home? Pick a ready-made set, or set your own house rules.
The same dice rolls for everyone, and the same opponents. How few rolls do you need to win? Share your result and challenge the family.
Send a link and play with friends far away. There is no chat: you answer with ready-made reactions, and names are checked, because children play.
A free board in A4 and A3, with pieces to cut out. For the cottage, the classroom or a rainy party.
“Every family plays Fia a little differently.”
So the house rules are part of the game: choose how your family plays, and nobody needs to argue about it at the table.
