Sweden is full of apples that fall, currants nobody picks and bilberry slopes nobody finds. Moget.nu exists so that what grows gets picked, and so that whoever picks it knows when. Is there more than you can pick? Let others share it.

Ramsons begin, sloes end, and the whole summer fits in between. Move the day and see what's ripe.
Ripe now, soon, over
Each kind needs a certain amount of warmth before it ripens, and every summer gets there at its own pace in every town.
So the site can say “raspberries in Alingsås: ripe now, about five days earlier than usual”. Nobody looked at those raspberries. The warmth did its work.
The dots on the map are places people have shared and wild finds. One that somebody shared is always worth more, and the two look different on purpose.
You choose how much shows
It all rests on people being decent to each other
- In someone's garden you're a guest.Say before you come, take only what was offered, and leave it tidier than you found it. Close the gate behind you.
- In forest and field, the right of public access applies.And its limits: no gardens, no fields, no protected plants. Pick so there's some left for the next person, and for the birds.
- Never take anything you aren't sure of.Mushrooms and herbs have dangerous lookalikes. If you aren't a hundred per cent sure, leave it.
- A shared place is a gift.Don't empty it, don't pass it on without asking, and do say thank you. It's the thanks that makes people share again.
