There's a Swedish baby cream that's impossible to buy in Tonga. My wife's mother used to send it to us.

She passed away in 2021. Before Timothy was born, my wife said we would probably never get that cream again.

Timothy was born at home on 21 April 2022. Five days later we collected a parcel from the post office. It had been posted at the end of 2020, or perhaps the very beginning of 2021, and had been on its way ever since. It was from her mother.

Inside were coffee, sweets, the baby cream, and a card wishing us all a better year.

God knew better. We did get the cream again, and just in time too: it was great to have with a newborn in the house. We miss her a lot.
